How to Make Nuts & Bolts Snack Mix

I made this mix for a Father’s Day Lunch where the theme was all about tools. So the name nuts & bolts was all about the tool time theme. This mix was such a hit, that I made it for fall and added fall candies instead of regular M & M’s I used in this recipe.

To make this mix… go to the grocery’s snack aisle and select your favorite snack foods, crackers, gold fish, whatever you like. In this case, I used Cheeze-It 2 cheese crackers in a box, buttered flavored square pretzels, peanuts & cashews, corn chips, and pop corn. What makes a great mix is having something sweet, salty and savory. As a result, it satisfies every flavor craving in a snack mix.

After I had all the ingredients, I put them all in a large mixing bowl and tossed to combine. Thats it! To serve, I used a small quart jar with hinged lid with stick on lettering Nuts & Bolts at each place setting, however I had a large bowl on the buffet table that everyone could munch on throughout the afternoon.
