In each issue, Liz handles every detail from concept to execution—acting as event planner, pastry chef, and photographer. Whether she is styling an elegant indoor affair or a casual garden reception, she creates an inviting atmosphere through comprehensive dining setups and curated recipes. Her lens captures the heart of every story, from sophisticated DIY projects and refined napkin folds to striking floral centerpieces and seasonal interior design concepts.

In 2010, Liz launched Liz Bushong.com and Serve it up Sassy. She had published her first cookbook Just Desserts and began making regular appearances on Daytime a regional life & style show. During this 10-year time span, she appeared on several other television shows and wrote for regional magazines. She also published her second cookbook Sweets & Savories. Doors opened for Liz to appear on other life & style shows throughout the southeast including creating and hosting her own seasonal show called Serve it up Sassy®. Because of her heart for sharing and teaching others how to bake, create and celebrate, she launched the seasonal magazine, All About the Table

Liz has had the distinct honor of serving on The White House Holiday Decorating Team for six seasons: 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2017. Having worked under the leadership of both Laura Dowling, Former White House Chief Florist and through the transition to subsequent administrations; including Holiday decorating The United States Vice President’s personal residence and The Tennessee Governor’s mansion.

Expertise: the Art of Three-Dimensional Entertaining

The former fashion designer earned a degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology of New York City and a degree in Consumer & Family Sciences from Purdue University.Liz is well grounded in her expertise creating the three-dimensional art of entertaining. Her creative works have been featured in many national magazines and online blogs.
