What is Golden Milk? How do I make it?
I first had Golden Milk during my routine visit to Sonridge Health Clinic in St. Augustine Florida. Being an advocate for alternative medicine, knowing Father God created our bodies to heal itself through our wonderful immune system. I have always treated myself with alternative medicine and herbs. While I love desserts, pretty tables and florals, I do detox and take care of my mind, soul and physical body. Sonridge helps find the root cause or source of dis-ease and heals through frequency, while boosting the immune system with nutrition, remedies designed for your needs, and natural wholesome vitamin supplementation.
A note about Sonridge. If you are not familiar with frequency medicine and how it heals, you should check out their website and videos. This technology is the future for healing, curing disease without dangerous additive chemicals in drugs and surgeries. I am a big fan. Can you tell? Finding the root cause instead of treating symptoms is the best road for recovery.
Back to Golden Milk. My first cup was so wonderful I actually asked for another. It was warm , spicy golden as a summer sunset with a bit of honey all stirred together in organic coconut milk. They sell the ingredients for the mix at Sonridge if you don’t want to make your own, but I decided to create my own… because that is what I do.. develop recipes and create. Off to my favorite health food store for organic spices. Some recipes online do not have all the spices I have in my recipe.
For this recipe you will need the following ingredients for the Spice Mix; Organics- Ground Turmeric, Ground Ginger, Ground Cinnamon, Ground Cloves, Ground Black Pepper, Ground Cardamon-although this spice is optional, for the Spice Mix. Granted there are recipes out there that do not have all these spices. The key ingredient is Ground Turmeric.
Be careful with turmeric because it will stain your cup, clothes, towels whatever it comes in contact with.
I would not recommend at least for this recipe whole turmeric root, that would involve a longer process to create. The organic ground is as potent and much easier to use.
Turmeric Ground, and root. Part of the ginger family.

When serving the Golden Milk Latte, heat 1 cup of organic coconut milk, Sonridge and I use SO Unsweetened Coconut Milk add 1 teaspoon of spice mix and stir, place in microwave for 60 seconds or 90 depending on how warm you want it. Remove from microwave and add 1/2 – 1 teaspoon of organic wild honey or maple syrup. Both are very good. If you don’t want to use the microwave, just heat the milk and spice mix together in a saucepan until it simmers around the edges, remove and add honey.
If you want it frothy, using a wire whisk, whisk coconut milk until it is bubbly or use a coffee steam wand for frothing. It isn’t necessary just adds a bit of creaminess to the latte.
Your Golden Milk Latte will look golden yellow with hints of all the glorious warm spices in the mix. You will love the taste and knowing you are doing something wonderful for your body. It will warm your inner self.
