Begin the process with a large 20″ round brown paper circle. Measure 2″ from outer edge all around the placemat to mark placement of the individual leaves. See photo pencil marks. Glue individual leaves with hot glue gun. Proceed around the outer edge until placemat is complete. No need to place leaves over the entire paper circle. The two inch line is the placement for the charger. If you are not using a charger, then you will should do another row of leaves.
