Whether in a hurry or taking it easy in the kitchen, make this simple 2 ingredient Easter Egg Candy Bark.  The 2 ingredients are white chocolate wafers and Junior Mint Candy Eggs. Can’t be any easier than that.  It’s almost too easy to be a recipe.  Your family will love this sweet treat. For a variation, make same bark recipe but use pink candy melts in a piping bag to create cute design as an add on, then add Easter tinted Jordan Almonds.

ANOTHER VERSION OF EASTER BARK– FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS BELOW BUT BEFORE ADDING CANDIES, MELT 1 CUP OF PINK CANDY MELTS IN MICROWAVE AT 30 SECOND INTERVALS, STIR UNTIL SMOOTH, FIT TIP # 5 DISPOSABLE PIPING BAG WITH MELTED PINK CANDY.  PIPE HORIZONTAL ROWS BACK AND FORTH WITH THE PINK. TAKE A TOOTHPICK AND DRAG LINES THROUGH THE WET WHITE CHOCOLATE AND PINK TO MAKE DESIGN WEB. ADD SPRINKLES AND JORDAN ALMONDS OR CANDY OF CHOICE.

How to Make Easter Egg Bark Candy

Honestly this recipe takes moments to make, you will need the following ingredients.

Ghirardelli White Vanilla Wafers , Junior Mint Easter Eggs, 

Baking sheet lined with parchment paper

Variation:  

Ghiradelli White Vanilla Wafers, Pink Candy Melts, Pastel Jordan Almonds.

Line baking sheet with parchment paper.  Melt wafers in microwave safe bowl at 30 second intervals until melted. Stir until smooth.  Pour chocolate on parchment paper and spread with an off set spatula to 1/4″ thickness. While chocolate is wet drop candies onto the chocolate.  Allow to set before breaking into pieces.

For the variation:  Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Melt wafers in microwave safe bowl at 30 second intervals until melted and mixture is smooth. Pour chocolate on parchment, smooth to 1/8-1/4 ” thickness.

Melt 1/2 cup pink candy melts in microwave at 30 second intervals until smooth. Fit disposable piping bag with tip# 3 small round tip. Fill with melted pink candy. While white chocolate is still wet, drizzle pink melts over the chocolate going horizontally in stripes. Take a toothpick and drag gently the pink melts through the white chocolate creating a marbled or feathered look, add Jordan almonds or candies of choice over the chocolate. Allow to harden before breaking into pieces.

Easy two minute Easter Bark featuring white chocolate candy wafers, Easter egg candies, or Jordan Almonds. Takes two minutes to make.

VARIATION: 1 cup pink candy melts piped in horizontal rows over melted white chocolate, toothpick pulled through white and pink candy to create a feathered design, then add Easter candies, Jordan Almonds, M & M’s and sprinkles.

2 cups Ghirardelli Vanilla Candy Wafers

20– Junior Mint Easter Egg Candies or candy of choice

Variation: Same amount of white chocolate, 1/2 cup pink candy melts, Jordon almonds or candies of choice.

Instructions

  1. Line baking sheet with parchment paper, lightly spray with cooking spray.
  2. In microwave safe bowl, melt candy wafers for 40 seconds, stir and repeat at 15 seconds to melt.
  3. Spread melted candy onto parchment paper, smooth with flat edge spatula to a 1/4″ thickness.
  4. Drop candy eggs onto melted wafers as desired.
  5. Allow candy to harden then crack or cut into pieces.
  6. Serve on decorative plate or bag and tag for party gift favor

Variation: Follow steps 1-3, Melt pink candy melts in microwave safe bowl at 30 second intervals until smooth. Fit disposable piping bag with tip # 3, or clip end of the piping bag creating a small round opening. Fill bag with melted pink candy melts, drizzle or pipe the pink horizontally over the wet white chocolate, take a toothpick and drag gently the pink into the white creating a feathered or marbled design.  Add pastel Jordan Almonds. Allow to cool & harden before breaking.

Notes

Jordan Almonds are very hard to bite into so feel free to substitute with M & M’s or other family favorites.  For kids I would suggest another M & M’s other than Jordan Almonds.
